Supreme Court won't block Montana campaign law ahead of vote Oct 23rd 2012, 18:07 Tue Oct 23, 2012 2:07pm EDT (Reuters) - The Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to intervene to block a Montana law limiting campaign contributions to candidates for state office at least through the November general election. The Supreme Court upheld a ruling by the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of appeals earlier this month that temporarily reinstated Montana's right to regulate campaign contributions after a lower court struck down the restrictions as unconstitutional.
