U.S. Senate panel to meet on Syria authorization at 2 p.m. EDT Sep 4th 2013, 17:06 WASHINGTON | Wed Sep 4, 2013 1:06pm EDT WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee will meet later on Wednesday afternoon to proceed with its vote on an authorization for the use of military force in Syria, the panel's chairman said in a statement. Committee chairman Senator Robert Menendez, said in a statement the meeting would start at 2 p.m. (1800 GMT).
