Supreme Court declines to hear Republican voting challenge Jan 14th 2013, 14:46 WASHINGTON | Mon Jan 14, 2013 9:46am EST WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Supreme Court on Monday refused to hear the Republican National Committee's bid to dissolve a 1982 decree designed to stop the improper suppression of voting by particular groups. Without comment, the court decided not to review a March 2012 ruling by a federal appeals court in Philadelphia that extended the decree to November 2017, with modifications previously made by a federal district judge.
